Nubira wagon 98 speed sensor

I bought a sensor part 96190708 (sensor a-distance), for my nubira wagon 98 automatic, but it is not the same plug that the old one. Is it a different sensor for the old wagons? What part number should I buy? I´m in Venezuela, may be another trademark can work too? How can I take it out, to show it to the store? I found it already in the car.

maybe the one for the auto is not the same as the manual?

May be it is not the same, but I have noted that since I've touched the connector to the speed sensor, the check light didn´t turn on in two days.
I´m doing this because I've been in 7 mecanicians and everybody sais a different things.
