Lanos rev limiter when in neutral/park

I never knew the '02 Lanos had a rev limiter while in neutral/park until tonight when I was at the beach and I decided to rev the engine .
It scared me a little ... well, more like worried me, when it started cutting back and the RPMs dropped suddenly.,

Just to see if it had a rev limiter, I tried my dad's '02 Lanos, and it too has a rev limiter as it did the same thing & sounded just like mine.

haha welcome to the club man. I found that out by racing... hit the rev limiter, my car litteraly jumped up and I still won since my friend missed a gear.
