2000 and 2001 1.6l heads

Quick question, Will the cylinder heads from the 2000 1.6l bolt directly to the block of the 2001 1.6l .
I understand that they are supposed to be the same but i have heard that there had been some changes from 2000 to 2001 engines themselves. i ran acrossed the 2000 head and would like to pick it up and do some work to it to get alittle bit more out of my woo. any help would be great.

Will bolt on fine. The only changes I know as far as part number comparisons go is that they changed the foundry that cast them and changed sand medium (changes surface finish of raw castings).

All the bolts will line up
All the oil passages will line up
All the coolant passages will line up

It will fit
