Spark Plug Wires

Post by BosnianLanos »

I need some replacement Spark Plug Wires. I don't need anything fancy like custom Magnacors but I don't want the crappy stock ones either. Some brands such as Accel sell some "universal" wires where the distributor end is left open for you to put your own plug. Has anyone tried these types of wires? If so, were the results good? And how did you go about solving the distributor plug issue, did you just cut the distributor plugs off of the stock wires and transplant them to the new "universal" ones?

:( Kind of important, one of my plug wires rubbed up against my cam cover and the heat melted the rubber insulation around the wire , and now its temporarily ghetto-protected with electrical tape, Its a matter of life or death. Either me or my electrical system....LOL.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks all for replies, I'll probably go with one of the sets daewooluvr found. If I do and they do fit, I'll post the results.
