Air/Fuel gauge.

Post by kroz123 »

Hey guys I just installed my Ractive Air/ fuel gauge and I just wanted to ask a ?

Wel I noticed that the gauge shows only at the lean site and never comes to the rich site. (ps: the gauge is working fine)

The gauge comes to the middle of lean and rich but never fully to rich.

Is this a good thing, does suppose to work like that.

Thanx

not sure what gauge type you got but the "Auto Gauge" type requires an earthing point from the engine to give proper reading.

the gauge on the 2.0 Nubita is always on the "stoich" range... it only went to lean when we had no fuel managment and the turbo spooled... never really saw it going to the "rich" area before.

Get a wideband kit. Those regular a/f meter are really worthless, they only cover a short spetrum.
Aveo that moves! Now I need those cams!
