Hi Prefix.... where are you from?
Your english is hard to understand.
Does this sound correct....
1) You were in a race and the 1.6L engine exploded.
2) The head and turbo came off as you hit the Nitrous Oxide at 4000RPM
3) You have destroyed 4 Lanos 1.6L Motors
4) You would like to put in a 2.0L and turbo it without Nitrous Oxide
5) You would like to find out how to wire the 2.0L engine into the Lanos
Ok... as for wiring... one Lanos here has a 2.0L and they are using the stock Lanos wiring harness to control the engine.
Most of the wiring is nearly the same and most of the sensors are the same (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
The 2.2L is also nearly the same as the 2.0L
There are several links on this forum to engine swaps.
For you.... I suggest this link.... http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5171
The swap was a 1.6L to 2.0L and although it was in a Nubira it should be the same for the Lanos.
One question for you..... how much boost and Nitrous were you running in your 1.6L engine before it died???

Nitrous 50 shot but i was using 70 to 80 shot. the 1th motor 80.the 2th motor 70.
and the 3th and 4th was the same turbo and 50 shot to save the motor
the 80 shot 180 to 190 hp and the 70 shot 168 to 173 and the 50 161 on the Dyno.
think you for that INFO

i recon the wiring will be identical for the 1.6 and 2.0 engines except for the VGIS solinoid trigger... you will end up with one extra socket that got no place to go on the engine but thats OK... we came across that with the 2.0 swap into a nubira and we just neglected the extra socket.chris@PrecisionBoost wrote:Hi Prefix.... where are you from?

also i think the wring of the 2.0 and 2.2 is identical as well... as far as i know a 2.2 is a stroaked 2.0 so every thing else is the same on both engines.

my advice on the 2.0l is that you should look unto beefing it up before going crasy.
look at my post in the turbo section(nubi rebuild)
also look up erfinders build. its some were in the tech section.
when rebuilding the 2.0, dont do what i am doing with the rods get forged if you plan on going over 300hp.
evenyually i'll change to forged but not now(they are expencive for me now).
best thing to do is get a lanos motor, drive around with that till the 2.0 is done.
then kill that vr6 and most hondas (half are riced anyway).
for the most torque, go with the 2.2l.
hit me, 360 dynamics, erfinder, and any very good parts info people on this forum for parts on the 2.0l.
p.s: you have alot to learn.
got drift?
