swap quistion..

guys any one knows the opel made engines z18xe and th e18xe and do they fit into a lanos .the e18xe duz 133hp i want to know how much duz e18xe do so that i can know which is the better choice and thanx

and want to make sure is it real that a 1.5l dohc makes 115hp and the 1.6l makes 105

is that true

last thing i heared was the 1.5 DOHC makes 110 HP.

any thing .. if no one knows so what is the best swap for a lanos to 1.8l engine??? any idea

z18xe is ecotec with 125HP. It have different engine mounts. I would prefere c20xe, witch is best engine opel made ever. It's 2.0 DOHC with 156hp (115kw)... You could use lanos gearbox, and mount c20xe on it. All you need is engine mounts for kaddet E GSI, or astra mk2 gsi...

thanx man ... u really helped me at this point but the problem i cant mount c20xe cuz in jordan when u change engines u can get only 30% of the cc'z of ur original engine u got and i have 1.5l ,30% whould be 1.95 not 2.0

so am looking for 1.8'z
