Optra5/Lacetti 1.6L engine

The 1.6L engine mounted on the Lacetti/Optra5 where came from? I know only that is build from an Opel engine but which?

Opel Corsa and Opel Astra have the 1.6L.... it's a very close cousin of the Lanos and Aveo/Optra/Nubira engine.

Main difference is in the compression ratio of the pistons
