Breather Air Filter question

wat are the benefits of this, can u put it on a stock engine ?

basicly this is to prevent oil vapors commingout of the cranck case from beeing sucked into the engine... it helps the engine breath better and reduces the dirt build ups in the TB and intake.

it is better to use oil catch can rather than a breather... the breather will allow vaports to spread in your engien bay and mess your engine and make it look like crap.

The first time I fit a breather to my car it caused so much restriction that it pushed my camshaft oil seal out and spit oil all over my engine bay. They are a really bad idea actually, and I agree with Mamdouh, use a catch-tank instead. Even if a filter doesn't restrict, the smell of oil will always be there. It drove me insane! Be aware also that our engines carry a lot of crankcase pressure (they are VERY old designs, remember) and filters just don't do it for us.
