thanks! i bought some anti-foulers yesterday and they are 18, but i wasn't sure once i got em home. :lol:

yeah i got some too the other day from nappa, that is becuase i removed my cat ( the pre cat first one) they aren't that hard to install and get the car to take off the cel

they are used to prevent the sparkplugs from fouling, but in our case, we're using them to prevent the cel from occurring with the removal of the cat.

oic... i saw them before but every one here calls it a spark plug seat.

so how will it prevent the CEL due to CAT removal?? is it making the O2 sensor farther from the exhaust flow so it reads less O2 in the exhaust thus simulating a CAT in action??

no, that is a mitsubishi evo

no, there is no need to unless you remove the catalytic converter that is attached to the header or put on a header designed for a single o2 sensor

I will do it as my car has 2 O2 in the CAT, so I will empty the CAT and do it. I hope it works

almos 95% of cars with this mod works out just one thing i notice no one said one of them has to be cut to fit the O2 and the other has to be stock that will made the ECU a cat is there and no cel will pop up, like i said i works almost 95% of times
