yesterday i decided to detail my engine and bay and spent roughly 3 hours scrubbing and polishing and making everything look pretty.
i took my oil cap off to clean it and put it back on... just not correctly.
while driving around today i thought the car smelled a little different and then while pulling out of wal-mart... realized i had smoke coming from out of the engine bay.
i pulled over to find oil on the entire driver's side of the engine and bay...
why does this kinda stuff happen. i lost over 2 qrts of oil too. at least no major harm was done

wow.. even if oil didnt get all over your engine bay was that even worth it? lol.. seriously though. If i clean my engine bay really really well.. maybe spend 30-45mins on it it doesnt even take two weeks to look like crap again

lol... when i was installing all the turbo stoff for the first time i took the oil filter off because it was in the way and later that day i wanted to fire it up for a few seconds to see how the exhaust sounded.. but i didnt put the filter back on.. all most all my oil was emptied in a mater of 2 seconds.. i still have oil all over stuff in the car
