What do you guys think about using octane booster?
Is it safe to use?
What does it do?
I think my injectors are dirty, what should I use, Octane?
Thanx in advance

Uhh, extra octane wont benifit you in anyway. Just a hungry wallet. It doesnt clean anything, doesnt help my gas milage, doesnt give you more power... nothing.
The only thing its good for is turbo/supercharged engines running high boost and if you tune the engine for higher octane

Higher octane is used to prevent knock (premature detonation caused by high compression; think diesels). This is only usually a concern if you are running forced induction, or a high compression ratio of like... 12:1 or more. Most N/A cars are factory tuned for 87 octane.
I dont know this for a fact, but someone told me that the SRT-4's Stage 3 upgrade has a canister of octane booster, some external engine controller, and boost controller. At the flick of a switch, it injects octane juice, changes the fuel curve, and cranks up the turbo PSI to like 20-something.
As I said though, I dont know for sure.
