How to change the coolant on a Optra?

Post by kroz123 »

How are you guys doing?

I have 1 ?

How do you change the coolant on an Optra?
Is it the same procedure as the one mmamdouh wrote in the How to forum?

And is the engine suppose to smoke a little or make strange noises for like 30sec?

Cuz when I install the ractive hose sleeving kit, i had to take the radiator hose off and when I put it back on the engine did smoke a little.

Pls Help I'm thinking of doing it 2morow.

Thanx.

basicly it is the same procedures on almost every car... some minor detailes might be different but the basic task is the same.

where exactly did that smoke come from?? and their is nothing in a coolant flush job that will makethe engine develop strange noises whatsoever, tell us more detailes about that so we can help.

Wel alright thanx for the info, As I remember as I install the ractive hose sleeving kit coolant did stay near the haeder cover.
I think that might be the cause of the smoke.
But it did make a strange noise like kchkchkch sry I can't describe the noise.

Peace
