well i have come to the decision today taht my car hates me. i couldnt get it started after i fixed the timing so my uncle (mechanic) and i tried to find the problem and well here is the result
snapped camshaft
my camshaft has snapped it to 2 pieces
. which really sucks. anyone elses certified mechanic snap there cam shaft in half?
well off to the salt mines to pay for my new camshaft

Damn, never heard of a cam snapping on an N/A 2.2L. Try to find a used one cause new ones cost (as I'm sure you know) a bundle.

all i have to say is this shows up how fragile our camshafts really are.

i have heard about broken crank shafts before but no cam shafts... revise my reply at the other topic you made and see what i think your problem is.
