This is made for the Vectra, but I read somewere that the 2.2l vectra engine is the same as the 2.2l Leganza engine. If this is true then will this kit work for my leganza.

it should, because whenever i get parts for my 2L leganza they are marked vectra

It seems so indeed. Every bit of info I've found points to the BLOCK being the same. Both engines have the same bore and stroke numbers. The power outputs are different however, indicating differences in head-work, but I think those cams may do you some good.

Some of the newer Vectcra 2.2L engines are the aluminum models which may not be compatible with our older iron block 2.2L engine.

You need to get the engine code to check for compatibility.

I think those prices are really expensive..... again.... customs ground cams would probably cost the same if not cheaper.

If you got a set of used Leganza cams there are piles of shops which will reprofile them for a really reasonable rate.
