Im guessing that petrol is expensive where you live. I have a 2L daewoo and a commodore with a hot 5L in it. My brother has a 5L ute too and they arent too bad on fuel, but i guess its all up to how much petrol is

don't know about the price (if engine and turboing is included) but why does he want to mess with the suspension and tranny?? if you are getting a 1.8 then the only thing you want out is your blown engine.

suspension

Post by python235 »

man u cant just put a 1.8 turbo inwith out changing the gear box and plus i have a hydraulic clutch that needs work, and need to work on most suspension cause of the engine weight change
but the price is a bit too high right ?!

for all that work it actually sounds decent if not a good deal. i know jason off of .net did the 2.0l swap for like $1500 so if your getting everything redone with a turboed engine and everything else thats a damn good price after i think about it

moin,

why it is so important to know, how big the fueltank is?

1700$ is a gooooood price for the job. in germany you have to pay 1700$ to get only a c20let.
don?t forget to use bigger brakes and the fuel pump from the let...

Fuel economy? I have had the pleasure (!) of owning a 1.6 Nubira and now a 2.0 nubira. Believe me the 2.0 is much more fun to drive and I actually get mores miles to the gallon than I did with the 1.6 - it is so much more powerful in the low engine revs.

DONE IT

Post by python235 »

Finally i picked the engine i want! its a C20 Somthing :P
its a hot engine that is equal to the c20xe but the new type
cant remmber the end though ,
its a non turbo high compresion with SFI and a moded ECU with a CHIP reaching up to 230 HP as estimated! waiting for the next 6 days to pass by to get the engine running
the great thing about it is its high torque plus my mechanic swears with that engine i can outrun almost all the cars in jordan and be on the top 5 list wit out a c20let!
cant wait to see it !
