I've done this before. It just takes a lil longer to crank over the first time.

I'm sure somewhere on the site has instructions on how to 'teach' the ECU again.

Don't quote me on this but isn't it something like:

Turn key to ignition 3 times or something. Then start.

THANKS!!!!

And it is difficult to teach ECM in the city, I give up . I do not feel any difference , maybe it is only a few seconds, the ECM did not flash at all .

Will the same situation happen when we change our battery ??

Even if you dont reset it, doesnt the ECU self adjust anyway?

I never reset mine after putting my pod filter in, i could actually feel it adjusting while driving, there'd be a sudden lack in power then a sudden boost, then the engine would act a little strangely for a few minutes...

Never noticed it again.

the how to is ready http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtop ... 3134#23134

and their is nothing wrong with reseting the ECU... if it didn't help it will never hurt your engine in any way and yes the ECU is self learning so if you don't follow the GM's learnig procedure the ECU will eventually learn all about your engine but it will take more time... nhot that much more to make you worry though.
