i bougth a used lanos but it is so strange that without adding any thing to its engine.. i raced a BMW 318 and i won but the thing is i want to know what is with this car
note : the engine got nothing on it more than a normal lanos (maye it be the ecu of the car)

probably the BMW driver knows nothing about driving... their is nothing with your car.

tell us more about your car like: model, manufacturing date, Kms on it, engine type so we can help more in the future.

Probably the BMW driver didn't have the engine running.

why are you surprised he beat the bmw? they are not that bloody fast!
with my cielo 15 16v with twin dellorto's and everything else standard i beat many cars like honda civic's 16 vt and crx's and astra 20 8v gte's and seat ibisa's 20 16v! so why so surprised with a 318!

a stock lanos can't beat a BMW.

Well, I dont know if the BMW in america are diferent that the BMW in EUROPE.

Beat a honda stock Honda is no hard, beat HONDA SI is harder.

Are you sure he was racing? I've had guys blow past me only to speed up and find it is a woman on a cellphone who is oblivious to the world, just speeding, but not racing.

I doubt a Daewoo could beat a BMW unless the Koreans snuck a turbo in there. I've revved up next to a M3 BMW only to get it shoved back in my face.

my friend has a bmw 318 and we tested its 0-60 at 6.3 seconds and he isnt a good driver so it could have been faster

i dont think the daewoo does 0-60 in 6 seconds

the honda's iv been racing are the 160 bhp model and the bmw here are family cars and they are not that fast! and what u were thinking of doing with an M3?????????????

mine does 0 to 60 in 6 sec but i put a vauxhall engine c20xe and runs quarter mile 14.48 sec so no bloody bmw come close except the m3 which is a 3ltr not 2ltr like mine! :twisted:

BMW here is not a FAMILY car, is a delux car. BMW don't bring the family slow cars here. If a family car if your family have a good amount of money. :twisted:

Also mercedes bring the best line of cars here. The firs time I see a mercedes in a movie like a TAXI I get

Is the XE standard? is your cielo a 2 door?

yes my xe engine is standard but as i have the old engine its the most powerfull of the vauxhall family! it is suppose to be 156bhp but they found higher figures on some standard engines! at the quarter mile i race sierras cosworth and even s2000 as im using the f16 daewoo gbox and its really low compared to the gm gearbox thats y its really fast!

if you tell me how to upload a pic here i have a good one while i was racing last saturday as i tooc part in a srint challange! and i have the results too!
