Post by lanos2001 »

I didn't put the box back before my Leganza went in for the cam sensor recall and everything went ok. No questions asked. Hope this helps.

I didn't put my stock air box back on my Lanos when it went in to get a new air bag module and have the cam timing sensor checked (mine had no problem). There were no problems with the air cleaner being on the car; no one even said a word.

By the way, the dealer told me they have checked over 600 Daewoo cars since the recall on the CTS was issued, and they have not found ANY to be defective at all. None have been replaced so far by them. That sounds like good news to me, meaning that there are very few of the CTS modules that are actually bad.
