hey guys just wondering if anyone has any ideas for what i can to get more power out my lanos. seeing as i got done speeding and am now back on my P's cant really have bolt on's or a bigger motor put in. any ideas would be great.

if you got done for speeding in a 1.5 maybe you have enough power
however the adj. fpr seems to be a popular trick

I actually got done speeding in a 94 gti swift lol. Had alot more power than the lanos anyway lol

I have a 1999 Lanos 1.6 ( USA) and I started with some simple things. 1) Get rid of the air intake
silencer ( if you have one) 2) Replace 7mm Ignition wires with 8mm 3) Premium spark plugs 4) the
1.6 has a big heavy rear muffler. replace it with a glass pack or use a straight pipe and a nice stainless
exhaust tip. with the resenator in the middle of the exhaust, it sounds almost the same w/o muffler +
you save all that weight. 5) K&N air filter or cold air kit. 6) The 1.5 and 1.6 may be different, but these
changes might be a good start in gaining more power without going broke. Enjoy!
