Bigger Injector(nexia dohc)

Post by djakic »

Does anyone knows what will happen if I put injectors on my Nexia 1.5 16v from a C20NE engine,I think nexia have 135ccm injectors and C20NE have 170ccm or 200ccm injectors...What will happen and what I should expect..some unbourned gas in exhoust and little backfires on hi rpm shifting gears or what...Will it work..tnx

unless you have more air going in to match the extra fuel there will be no benefit

the engine will run rich, and you will have greater fuel usage but no performance increase...

going to big on injectors is not a good idea unless you have a turbo or so... a sport filter is not going to add that much air to require much bigger injectors

best option is to use 150cc/min injectors
