2001 Daewoo nubira Need Help Please
Ok so i picked up a 2001 daewoo nubira my question is im trying to find parts for this car but some places say the motor is a X20SE other places say its a C20XE so what im trying to figure out is which motor i have. When i look them both up these are the pictures i get
C20XE
X20SE
I can tell you that the second one is not my motor the first one looks more like it... Can someone help me clarify this will the C20XE parts fit my motor Thanks
Here's a picture identical to mine what do you think?

all three of the engine blocks that you have pictured there are the same "family" of motors. they basically all use the same block. a lot of the internals will work if you know what you are doing but you have to be very careful. ...basically stick with the parts that are made for your motor.
the motor you are looking for is the T20SED, also sometimes referred to as a U20SED (this is trpically a rear will drive setup though).
what parts are you looking for?
Garrett

Eventually I will be doing a whole rebuild but, for now i just need rocker cover since the plastic one i got has cracked and a rocker cover gasket . The issue i have is I'm not sure what motor is mine the last picture is an exact picture of it. Also ill be needing a heater hose the one i got has a leak in it. There is another hose that i need if you look at the last picture its the hose that connects the rocker cover to the air intake you can see it there on the top right at the first dip closest to the timing belt. Thanks for the reply

OK well guess this is going no where fast thanks for the some what advice
Re: 2001 Daewoo nubira Need Help Please
it's a T20SED/C20SED/X20SED/X20XEV
for the hoses, measure diameter and then get some wire (from a coat hanger for example) and bend the shape you need... take it down to the parts store and get them to match the shape and diameter...it's not rocket science

You sure? It might be rocket science! Sorry I'm not a mechanic. I'm learning all this its kinda new to me. You don't have to be a smart alack about it but, then again if it wasn't rocket science you would know sending someone a large file to help them out wouldn't be that hard either. Just up load it with a ftp and free host it!!! Secondly the hose is behind the alternator and under the intake manifold. So its not exactly easy to stick a coat hanger in there right this second when there's barely enough room to see what the hose even is or what the hose even looks like! If i could get it off that simple i would just take it down to the part store and tell them i need a new one of these so if you really want to make it so simple feel free to come over and lend a hand!!!

sorry, I don't have broadband, that is my reason for not sending you a file that only costs a few dollars on ebay
the only hose that is behind the alternator and under the intake is the hard plastic coolant hose going from the water pump to the bottom radiator hose with 2 heater hoses coming off it

Ya Ive already gotten that far i just got it off mainly because the people that put the clamp on before had it up right and i didn't want to take off the manifold and the alternator just to change a hose i got it out finally after 4 hrs of tweaking and rotating all that for one hose they really like to squeeze things in there now. Thanks though. I got a manual but its in Romanian so that is useless to me anyone have an english or know how to convert a Romanian pdf to english Thanks
