How to replace Lanos 01 fuel filter..

Post by Protokiller »

I think my fuel filter is bad but it seems to be different to replace the Daewoo's fuel filter vs the fuel filter on most cars.

Is there an easy way to remove it without buying any special tools?

I had to have someone do mine because of that stupid clip too.... any chance someone could post a pic or demonstrate how that thing comes apart or how you would use a fork? I am afraid to damage the clip and have to have fuel one or fittings replaced.

My father got the clip part off using pliers, if you notice there are wider places near the end of the clips you can push on that are at the end of the hose. He had to use pliers and pull VERY HARD to get the hose out. It's a real pain but nothing was broke but there is a possibility of breaking the clips this way.

it's best to replace those clips with quick release clips. They're sold in any parts store.
