Thanks guys!! The car passed inspection. And I am good for another year. I really think I am in too deep with this car. I paid $1,500 then new tires with install was $391, then I had the blowout with the t-stat and the first time around was about $165 and then this time was $544 plus $21 for the inspection. She is turning 98,000 miles and I think it's time for the timing belt and water pump change. What should I do? I mean I really wont be able to get the amout back that I put into this car. I am very attached to her and think I will run her till she dies for good. What do you guys think?

For sure if it's still the original Tbelt! ASAP.
Get a good quality Tbelt kit.

Glad you resolved... As for the t-belt, if its original (doubt it) you don't have to worry about long ownership as its will probably die soon when the belt breaks loool.

Seriously, get it replaced soon. As far as cost of ownership, you will never get back what you put into a car. Just see it as your way of paying the bills (it takes you to work and back and keeps you employed). For this reason its worth w/e maintenance it calls for...
