i think with the solus its towards the bottom where the trans gear and tcc data displays... should say misfire and cyl #.

if not it should be under fuctional tests

just an update for everyone.. everything seems to be good.. about 350 miles and a new tank of gas and it looks good...

good to hear! though i must admit im stunned never in my yrs as a tech have i had egr cause a flashing mil...

I'm having a similar problem - although mine started after replacing my ECM. Am thinking that the computer is most likely faulting.

I think the flashing CEL indicates an engine misfire. I have had mine flash a few times, usually when I am at highway speeds and the engine is working hard (hills, passing, etc). I don't know that I have ever noticed a difference in the operation when it has happened though. The good news is that the CEL for that resets as soon as you turn the ignition on and off. If it keeps happening, i would think there is a larger problem.
