ive heard people useing a turbo header fron a (i think) d16 honduh engine. but im not 100% on the model engine it was. it did need some nodification to the bolt holes but in the end it did fit. of you decide to geta cicvic header, get a good one, not a cheapo ebay one.

the aveo should be a direct bolt on. i believe the head ports and bolt holes are the same. ive never had any up close interaction with an aveo but i dont see why it wouldnt fit

The bolt part does not matter to me a lot. When u say get a better one, what u mean by that? (like to get a better one local?, better price?)

the metal. dont want to use tin on exhaust, it would melt. lol tin exhaust.
there aluminum, steel, etc. but fi you didnt know, theres different "grades" which basically states the quality.
and like ive heard, dont wanna buy a honda compared to a ford for metal strength, b.c honda is out of country, and supposedly the metal is never good enough grade.

i believe thats what mofo means. so dont buy a cheap grade aluminum. as if you are turbo-ing.. it could explode, or blow a hole, b.c its weak.
so if needed, ask the seeller what the grade is.

also theres how the part is made and all i can remember is molding forgot the other types.

what i ment is dont buy the cheapo $50 mani from ebay. the welds will crack and it will be made with thin flanges that will warp easly. for a bit over the price of a good civic mani you could get a custom lanos one made and be better off. i also sugguest getting one ceramic coated, stay away from plateing, it will hold in the heat.

get a flange made that fits the lanos. then remove the egr valve and install a block off plate in it's place...don't know if unhooking the egr will cause a cel but it probably doesn't matter if it does since your going turbo.

yes, unhooking the EGR will CEL. ive done it trying to test my knock shifting to find a bad misfire.

anyway.. you need the EGR, well dont need as ur car will still run, but not ASSSSS efficient.
as the name Exhaust Gas Return.
what you could really do, if you really want a special mani, drill a hole, thread it, and thread the block hole, put a pipe on them both.
highly not recommended, but an idea. :x
*(use at your own risk)*
and like mofo says... custom you know will fit(98% of the time), and the coating will handle. and if you wanna go all out, wrap them. never heard or saw stats if they help any.. but always advertised.

unplugging it is a bad idea (i still have the emission testing), then i have to look for a shop who would do the exhaust manifold for me ;)
