2001 Lanos 1.6

Post by BANDIT77 »

Had the head rebuilt, the shop that did the work doesn't remember taking off any sensors. I am installing the head and had 2 wires with nowhere to plug.... ordered a coolant sensor, that fit one plug on the back of the head (two prong) now I have a (looks like ) 1/4 " threaded hole between the coolant sensor hole and the water pump, it has a slip (slide) on single plug, any idea to what kind of sensor I need to order? the hole is about the diameter of a pen or pencil, could it be an oil pressure sensor? Any ideas. Thanks!

It should be the temp sensor for the dashboard gauge.
