Hello everybody, I have just bought a Nubira CDX 2lt petrol. :D, Everything works well but no interior heating. :o Engine temp normal, demist fan works OK.
Does anybody know where the valve controlling water flow to the heating matrix is located and how is it linked to the hot/cold knob on dashboard?
Any ideas why no heat.
Anthony.

Hi welcome,

The heating matrix (heater core) is located under the dashbord and is always heated. No stopcock here to stop/allow water flow. Maybe your actuator heating cable is disconnected. It acts on a flapper to divert air flow.

BTW check also at the firewall for two U-connected heating hoses. This is common pratice to save $ when you get a leaky heater core  .

Thank you Daniel, I'll see if I can find the flapper. Re U-connected hoses; I've once done it myself after the matrix frooze and burst. :)
