Questions to Gates belt gurus

Hi guys,

The pictures below are from a 5 years old/ 29000miles (47000km) timing belt I changed recently on my Nubira. I think I was lucky.

Q1: Is that normal at that mileage to have a crack and broken strings like that?
Q2: Is the "3-04TK" some date code?

its not only the miles on the belt, its also the age. rubber becomes brittle over time, adn will crack and stray.
