Hi all,
I had someone run up the back of my car the other day, a daewoo lanos 99 model.
The car has a body kit and mags and through my insurance company i insured it for 8 grand Australian agreed value, the minimum i could i beleive.
now my question is it has a broken back bumper, which is a bodykit bumper which needs replacing.
the boot will not open and has a large gap on the right side where i can slot my fingers in.
The left side of the body has a fold in it.
i had to get someone to take a wheel off and hammer back the body of the car underneath the bumper because it was hitting the rear tyre, so not a panel on the car but under neath it.
When i took it to a crash repairer they didnt tell me much but they did mention something about chasis rail damage.
Would you consider this to be enough to write the car off?
Cheers
Write off or not?
