Engine Problem in 2000 Lanos

Post by Oshe »

Hi Guys,
Forgive me if I haven't got the right area but am new to this site.. I was seeking some advice about my 2000 Lanos 1.5 SOHC ... I only just recently brought the car with a timing belt problem... Long story short replaced the head and all is fine except I would have figured the car would have a little more power and it seems to have the slight of surgures under load at the top end its not as bad... To put it another way it seems though I am fighting it for the RPMS....

I have replaced the timing belt and tripple checked the timing thinking I may be a tooth out but it all looks good... I don't know what the car was like befor I brought it but compared to my 95 1.5i its a little sluggish...

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreachated....

The plugs are good, not certain about the injector or leads... Each pot is running approx 160

Cheers
Mark
