Leganza timing and valves

Recently, my wife was driving her Leganza at about 85MPH in 5th gear (probably 2500RPM) and the timing belt tensioner broke off of the oil pump housing, where it mounts. This, if you can picture it, is basically the equivalent of the belt snapping because all the tension is lost. So anyway, after te...

Leganza Serpentine Belt

After finaly nearly completing my long journey of repair on this 2000 Leganza, I'm at the final steps toward victory. It appears that the crossmember will be interfering with some of the oil pan bolts. Also it looks like some of the transmission bolts are through the oil pan.

Thanks for all of the input and suggestions, we finally got it out. Now we're faced with an even bigger obstace. We have to remove the oil pan from a 5-speed. It appears that the crossmember has to be dropped to get to all of the bolts and drop it, buuuuuuut, both engine mounts are on that cross mem...

It has to be a key because the oil pump will not come off with it there.

The only thing it is doing is cutting thru the metal. It's likely to be stuck now.... Then what?

Leganza & Nubira

Do they have the same head? I found a Nubira in the local u-pull-it yard and the engine appears the same. Whats the story?
