Hi to all, I have dead ‘99 Leganza on my hands and I decided to make a project out of it. The connecting rod on first cylinder snapped and wreaked havoc on the entire engine. I took the engine apart today and found that the head was apparently rebuild short while ago (new water pump, gaskets...) but...

I wouldn't worry to much. Once oil pump in my Racer died, oil pressure light came on and I was still able to drive it home for about 50+ kms. Of course after so much stress engine was trashed, but I'm sure it would be OK if there was minimal oil pressure left since it didn't start to run rough up un...

To answer the question first: yes I do have one for Lanos.
The document found on quoted link is more like parts list than service manual, can be usefull also, but the full Leganza manual has about 2000 pages, though. It's detailed to the last bolt.

72 HP can be frustrating.
You could try with electronics from later Astra. I did that with my '93 Racer GSI back when it was new. Increase was suposed to be around 15 HP, never actually got it on dyno, but it was noticable. If I remember correctly it's plug & play job.

Hello everyone, just joined the forum and thought I should introduce myself and more importantly my car.
I own Daewoo Leganza 2.0 CDX, which replaced Chevrolet/Daewoo Lacetti Station Wagon SX. In the past I owned Daewoo Kalos/Chevrolet Aveo, Daewoo Racer GSI and Daewoo Nexia GLX.

Yep, that's a Daewoo. First time I saw it reminded me of Lanos also. Bought the station wagon version of it (Chevrolet Lacetti SX) in October last year and was plesently suprised.
