Re: error code P0452 daewoo laganza 2002 (HELP)

PO452 Evaporation Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Leak. I would check to see if sensor is within voltage spec and go from there. Check for split hoses, clamps, etc. Since that is the only code you get I suspect its a bad sensor.

Re: Lanos w/ P0301 & P0420; Short version

I had both the 301 code come up and the 420. The 420 was an easy fix. Just replaced the O2 sensor and that went away. The 301 would come and go and was almost impossible to trace so I just put up with it. Sometimes it would stay off for couple hundred miles and then re-set. Good news/bad news here. ...

Re: Daewoo Lanos 1.6 head rebuild and timing belt.

it broke unexpectedly (frayed like it was just snapped) The timing belt was fried in my case and snapped going 70 MPH. The belt came in the kit I used it at the 60,000 mile replacement. Although the belt did go 38,000 miles I knew better than to let it go that far as the belt did not look to have t...

Re: Belt Woes

Do you have any ideas on what I should do. I was re-reading your post and I remembered when I have belt noise I dress it with a tire tool first before I buy a new one. That is with the car running and the belt squealing I lightly press the sharp edge of the tire tool against the belt till the squea...

Re: Belt Woes

you're the only other person to positively comment on them Shows what they know. They're absolutely unique for a 4 lug 4 spoke wheel at least in that photograph. Very clean minimal look and in 17''. Not just another wheel. Ya know, you look and look for just the right wheel and when it hits you jus...

Re: Belt Woes

AC belts and bearings are natorious for this type of squeal.

Say, What kind of wheels are those four spoke in the pic to the far right? 4 lug I suppose? What size? Really sharp looking at least in that pic.

Re: Lanos Repair Manual Online?

If you are talking about the PDF downloads? That website looks like a spam magnet. No thank you. I am talking about a person who charged me money and and lot of others for an online Daewoo manual that is no longer on line. I guess my first mistake was purchasing an online manual. Still, shame on thi...

Re: Stuttery

Well, since your Irish and I'm Irish I will take a stab =) I would check for any possible codes coming up. If none I would still check the fuel pressure and make sure everything is within spec. Ceck and double check. Also check the firing order and make sure during all these parts replcement the wir...

Re: Broken timing belt :(

Love that car! ... 160,172 miles on the odometer and it still looks almost new inside and the outside still looks quite good ... but not perfect. My wife's 104,000 Daewoo Lanos looks beat to crap. Left door dent, roof is faded, Interior has held up exceptionally well after ten plus years. The moral...

Re: Car bogs under light load... Fuel pump dying?

I had the same problem. It was the fuel pump.

Rent a fuel pressure gauge from Auto Zone and check the fuel pressure. Simple 15 minute check.
