i have a 2001 daewoo nubira se 2.o dohc. when idleing it idles fine...when i give it a little gas the rev. limitor doesnt kick in( it kicks in at about 4500 rpms) and it goes all the way to 6000 rpms and the speedometer moves to 20 mph even though the car isnt moveing...secondly when going down the ...

not yet but it will be before to long. I am also getting a red spark plug wire set and red intake as well...i'll keep adding pictures as i continue to do stuff to the woo...also got a custom plate for the woo it will saw..... woo fctr....can u guess wat it means?

Thanks i cant take the credit for the paint job a friend did it for me...he used rust'o'leum engine enamel high temp paint

Had a friend paint the heat shield for me....i think it turned out pretty good..now on to getting the red spark plug wires and red intake lol....car should b outa the shop monday or tuesday...i'll post pics of the old cylinder head and the new one.

they are for the 2.0..i actually got them from advance auto parts the part # it shows me in my order confirms is 8555..i have the 01 daewoo nubira se 2.o DOHC

k so back to my updating...srry havent in a while been busy with work and getting the car fixed....I took it to the shop to have them tell me i bent EVERY SINGLE VALVE :shock: ...i knew i had bent valves but damn...well ordered a new cylinder head, gasket kit, and head bolts. Got the gasket kit and ...

I believe the Valves bent on it gotta take it to a shop as soon as i get the money to do it...and i wanna replace the motor in the future since mine has about 140,000 on it now...with the motor i have now i would like to do some mods to it such as cai and a couple other little things

k as alot of you know i have a 01 daewoo nubira se 2.0 dohc...i was wondering if i could do an mitsubishi lancer evolution swap...and if not what motors i could swap with....thanks for the help

yea found a fsm...might just go ahead and get a new head or take it to a shop...wich ever one is cheaper...thanks for the advice...once i get everything done i'll post up and let you know....thanks again

had the t-belt replaced about 2 years ago roller went out about 6 months ago and just now getting the money to get the valves redone...replaced both rollers t-belt accesory belt tensioner and now im left at the valves...so im just trying to look at what all is involved and if i take it to a shop how...

I need to know what all i need to do to change the valves in my 2001 daewoo nubira 2.0 dohc..I did a compression test and got nothing in the 1st and 2nd cylinders and the needle didnt even move so I gotta tear it all down but I need to know what all goes into it like how to do it and what all I will...
