As its allready been mentioned, thats what happens when your car lives on cheap fuel (its like living on mc donalds) Fill up with premium at least once every 5 refills, better yet, to fix your current problem, buy a bottle of injector cleaner and add 1/3 of the bottle to your fuel talk before you re...

I bought my Lanos in December 1998, new, a whopping 25 miles on it. I think it was one of the earliest releases of Daewoos in N. America because it took another 6 months for them to start showing up on roads. I have a metal valve cover, metal thermostat housing, "Art-Deco"ish interior, but Daewoo s...

hahaha understand your curious, but the fact is, why would anyone waste a $500 nitrous bottle on a purpose that wouldnt really give you maximum benefit? Is best to get it professionally installed either wet or direct port, then it becomes totally worth while, lol and from what i read, they actually ...

Mines been doing it to, but only happened since i messed with the acceleration cord, tightened the idle on it to get higher off the line performance.

usually idles at 900rpm, tuned it for 1200rpm but it sometimes fluctuates to 1500 - 17000, i guess i need to oil the cable.

Re: Results of the choco chip

People Yesterday I installed the choco chip to my Lanos. There was not difference. With the Scan Tool at work I verified the temperature of the Air Intake. Normally the Daewoo works at 56 degree and with the choco chip, the temperature only went down to 43. :x There was not much difference on the t...

What did you make the heat shield out of. I've been thinking of doing that too. Its fully flexable aluminium sheeting, the stuff brick layers use in building brick fences, its fairly good stuff. Its quite thick and holds the heat out well, I also put a folded piece of folded cloth between the two p...

Re: DOOFWOO'S Lanos

HEAT SOAK WRECKS ANY CHANCE OF PERFORMANCE... !!!! MMMMmmmm Cold air ... Shielding The pod filter from h...
