Maybe I should just buy a sensor from the local Chevy dealer for a 2004 Aveo. I believe it's the same part number.

I do not believe it is a genuine GM part.

The ebay listing says:
AUTO 7 INC 040-0011 Cam Position Sensor

This may be the problem.
I am going to search for the GM part number, but if anyone knows it, feel free to post it here.

This is an odd problem I can not seem to solve, so I am asking if anyone has any ideas. 2002 Lanos hatchback, 1.6L, automatic Intermittently, the check engine light would come on, stay on from 10 minutes to a week or so, then turn back off.
