Re: WTB: performance chip
+1 These so called "Performance Chips" are crap. Which is why you see a picture of a little black box with 2 wires that says performance chip. It's just a resistor which will in turn burn out your catylitic converter over time. Don't trust them.

Re: Aveo 1.6l 2006 USA model
60 series is specially designed for 4 cyllinder engines. 40 series on aveo sounds just like a fart can. You might as well buy a $40 fart can and save yourself the 150 you would have spent on flowmaster.

Re: I upgrade my Aveo's guages
Whoa whoa, what!?! How did you change the color on those gauges? I have the same ones in my 09' hatch and I tried but it looked like the little diodes were part of the cluster so mine are still green.

Re: Aveo 1.6l 2006 USA model
I have an 09' Aveo 1.6. Get a Flowmaster 60 series. They are specially designed for 4 cyl. engines and they sound badass too. Youtube aveo flomaster and look for a video by user GoAsT, his sounds awesome.

You will see a little more power and more low-end pull down the road. Check with xiogary, he's got some nice ones.

Re: Ideas for my aveo Tranny
The swap would probably end up costing you more than the resale value of the car is worth in the end. No offense, I drive an aveo too.

Re: Tips for my aveo and headder
Be careful, you cant trust a lot of those ebay sellers. Check with xiogary, he's on here and aveoclub.net and I believe he sells a header that will bolt up to your cat and also a cat-delete header. I think his are also ceramic coated, but don't quote me.

Re: Nubaroo - weight reduction
It's parked out at the farm right now, but I'll try to get some pics for you this week. Mine looks just like this except I didn't do the the center. I just peeled the carpet and everything outta the floor and spayed truck bed liner on all the floor panels in the car. http://i205.photobucket.com/albu...

Ouch! I wonder if this could work in a 1.6L Ecotec Aveo? I have an 09'. A six speed would be great.

Re: Nubaroo - weight reduction
Nice write-up on trimming the fat off your car. I did this on my turbo daytona. It helps dramatically. I skinned all my doors and what-not with alluminum sheetmetal to make it pro, but it's not required.
