Re: Gear Knob

It doesn't hurt the stock knob removing it with boiling water. It only has to be in there for about a minute, enough to loosen the glue.

Re: Gear Knob

Idk, on ours you have to unbolt the whole shift lever and dip it in boiling water and then just pull it off with a rag. Same thing to put it back on.

Re: need help in cluster pinouts ( aveo )

You could've just gone to any chevy dealer and have them flash your ECM and it will reset the cluster to whatever your computer has recorded thus far.

Re: Newb Questions

You can fit 18's on a Wave, but I think you will rub if you put springs on it. 18's will lift it. I run 17x7.5's with 205/40/R17 tires...no rubs. Also the integra intake will work, but you have to cut it twice.

That's the problem, we can't. He hasn't been on in months and won't respond to emails or PM's. I think we are almost to the point of moving the threads to a new site. Just asking for some advice here.

Re: I upgrade my Aveo's guages

Please! Very intersted, a couple of us on aveoclub.net have taken our new 09 clusters apart to try with no success. I'm about to break down and buy a Pontiac G3 cluster.
