FOR SALE: 1.5i / Cielo Instrument Cluster with Tacho !!

I am selling my cluster from my Cielo. The cluster originally came out of a 1.5 but I just had to slightly modify my cars pins in the wiring loom in my Cielo. This item is genuine Daewoo and extremely rare (have not ever seen another one in a 1.5/cielo). There are 147501 kms on the clock. The entire...

This seems to be a common problem with Lanos's. My gf's one had the same issue - had to buy a new one for $50AU from Holden.

Hmm. Im not sure about the exhaust problems. But I do know that if your exhaust has sort of packed it in and nearly died, then it can actually block the exhaust a bit and restrict it - even tho it may sound loud and powerful.

Hey man, Glad to see your car is working now. I have 8.0mm leads on my Cielo. My girlfriends Lanos only have 7.0mm and her car does feel a bit gutless compared to mine even tho hers is supposed to be 8kw more powerful than my car. So yeh I do think the leads can make a difference. Also i wouldn't wo...

Thanks for the info! When you upgraded your 1.5sohc into the 2.0L was it worthwhile? The hp rating is about 50% more than the 1.5sohc. I am thinking of getting ahold of a espero and take the engine/front brakes etc from it and put them in my cielo. I wonder if the interior door panels would fit? Min...

Difference between F16 and D16

Hey. I am just wondering what exactly is the difference between the F16 and the D16? I know the F16 uses a clutch cable and the D16 is hydraulic. Is one better than the other? If anyone could give me some more info it would be great!

Question about Espero 2.0L engine

Hey everyone! What is the engine code for the Espero 2.0L? Also when doing a swap to a lanos/cielo is there the same problems with the front engine mount and power steering/ac etc?

Yes JonnyC is correct. The wire is there but it just has no use when u are using a standard cluster. If you cut the cable and lengthen it, you should be able to route it to your new external tacho.

There is a wire behind the dash (in one of the wiring looms for the cluster). Its a grey/white one. It is the correct signal for the tacho! Even if your cluster doesn;t have a tacho it is there!!

Hey mate. To remove the links you need to have a spanner/socket on each end while you turn one of them. :)

I agree! The clutch is easy peasy, its just taking the tranny, drive shafts etc off and putting them on again!

I have just finished changing the clutch in my Cielo and I can tell you it is a pain in the ass! Not so difficult, just requires alot of time if you dont know exactly what your doing. As far as tools go: Good metric socket and spanner set, ball joint and tie rod remover tools, a hoist would b...

Sorry, my bad. You do have the correct amount and correct type of fluid in the tranny don't you?
