Thanks for the reply Kinky. I actually got around to taking the bulb out today, and it's was actually an 880 made by GE. I went over to gelighting.com and it's not listed at all. I work at a MACK truck dealership, so I thought I would cross reference it with the Mack data base, and it was listed, bu...

Optra5 / Reno fog lamp bulbs???
I've been trying to find out for the longest time, but have had no luck. Does anyone know what the stock bulbs are for the fog lamps in the Optra5 / Reno? All of the bulb listings I've found do not list a bulb for the fogs, and I've not found any joy in the forums either. Does anyone have any specs ...

It could just be a mis-aligned timing belt cover. My Optra 5 had a whining sound 1 month after me buying it new. It ended up being the timing belt rubbing on the inside of the cover because the cover was not on properly. I figured out this myself by pushing on the plastic timing cover in a few diffe...

Are you using a dash kit to install the new radio, or are you just trying to mount it straight in to the dash? Maybe if you try using a dash install kit, it will create the clearance you need. I have never heard of an after market head unit being too long to fit, as they are generaly smaller than OE...

Rice is a term used by people who don't like other people's tastes, and try to enforce their own. People need to get over this whole rice thing, I mean the damn cars are made in Korea.... what else does it need to be any more rice? A chrome muffler? People express themselves in many different ways, ...

You want to connect your amp to the preamp outputs, front or rear doesn't really matter, but for simplicity, since it is for the front speakers, use the front preamp pair. The other wire you would be interested in would be the external amplifier wire. This is used to turn on your amp when the head u...

They will work what ever way you wire them, but if they are wired differently on each speaker, your speakers will be out of phase, and will result in a loss of bass and a muffled sound.naznomad wrote:Just found this post. So is this why my speakers still play normally no matter which way round they are wired?
