But i like it... its lightweight, handles well, has a bit of power when i put my foot down but its still economical, it looks good (even better with rims :D) and sounds great (thanks to a $1K exhaust, it sounds like a wrx) I plan to spend maybe another $...

from what i know, resonators in the exhaust take away certain sound ranges from the exhaust note. On my cielo, the exhaust isnt as loud as some cars at high revs, but its still got a very loud, deep idle. If i didnt have the resonator it would scream at high revs. Also, they dont really detract from...

corroded head :(
i had a closer look at my head today and realised that there is a little bit of corrosion between a water channel and an oil channel. one thing led to another and there was water in my oil and the car was misfiring. Does anyone know about welding heads??? would it be as strong as before if it got we...

machining the head just means they are making it flat... i had it done to my old falcon and to the cielo when the head gasket blew. they just take off a teeny little but to make sure that it sits nicely ontop of the headgasket. im sure if you want then to take a little more off they could probably d...

Advancing Ignition Timing
my friend who seems to be some kinda of master mechanic advanced my ignition timing for me today... HUGE difference to the performance. revs higher, quicker response, more torque. Only downside is i have to use 98RON petrol and it stalls on idle sometimes this was on a 1.5L SOHC cielo engine... so o...
