I used Megasquirt II V3 (HEI setup - for C20GET) - doable and working, but this is more advanced approach. Don't know if MS can control the auto gearbox. You could use PROM from 93+ sunbird 2.0, the variant that uses DIS and reluctor wheel (which you do have on the 2.2 motor). Question is, are the t...

The foglamp harness plug with length of wire (one that goes to the back of the factory foglamp switch)...same goes for the actual foglamp connectors behind the foglamps in the bumper. Will grab forglamps too, if in decent shape.

As a quick note, remember the F28 uses very special gearbox oil. I posted the link a while back for Kinky, but I am sure it is still here somewhere.

There is also product called "water-wetter" by RedLine... it increases cooling efficiency of any cooling system. It may help. Also, perhaps try looking at places like migweb.co.uk - I remember reading that people dropping C20LETs into their Kadetts Mk2 (same chassis as Lanos), were using C20XE radia...

The standard max bore is +1mm... anything more than that and you will need to start looking at custom parts. Personally, especially if you plan on running boost, I would keep it within 0.5mm. Any more than that, and chances are the cylinder walls will start becoming thin and may distort with the pre...

It was a good exchange rate too!!! Thankfully, the CAD dollar is quite strong world-wide, due to very weak US dollar. I bought a couple of items off eBay the other day and was getting about US 1.10 for 1 CAD :)

Yes, they do twist every now and then and can be pain without an impact. A trick I found that works well (2nd person required sometimes) is to use an open-ended wrench, and attach it on the flat-ish part of the tie-rod end (wise-grip works too). Then, use extension of some sort for leverage, and twi...

It's ALIVE!!!!

As a first update in long time, today the motor started for the very first time. We had some problems with the Megasquirt, mainly due to the fact it was originally MS-I Spark'n'Extra configured to run Neon. Unit was converted to MS-II V3, and as always, it was Chris that found the last couple little...

Chris...the one at the shop is for Lanos 16v. Aveo uses internal reluctor wheel attached to the crank, just as the T20/U20 motors.
