You can get a short shifter from Tuning.co.uk or from Griffith Engineering
It will fit all deawoo with the Getrag F16/F20 manual gearboxes

Erfinder.....go nuts....get the C20LET with Phase3 (309BHP 316 lbs ft) from http://www.courtenaysport.co.uk and match it up with F28 6SPD converted to FWD and mated with Quaife LSD

If you have a Lanos, the easiest way to do the conversion is by means of getting the 2.0 Turbo engine from 87-91 Sunbird GT Turbo or Grand-Am.
