The digi dash above can read speed in both Miles and Km, its just a matter of turning a little knob (the same knob that resets the odometer readout). I can source a few of them, if anyone wants ;) It will work with Lanos, as the speed sender unit goes where normally the speedometer cable goes. Cheers!

Hmmm...here is the pic of the C30XE from Catera...Looks different, especially it is the lack of the cool looking intake manifolds. http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/CadillacCatera/Images/Engine-med.jpg http://www.s10cameo.com/DCP_0337.JPG http://www.s10cameo.com/DCP_0727.jpg What do you think Stef?...

There is some literature available even at Chapters that will help you design your own intake manifold. You may also want to take a look at some designs for other makes, like Honda, to get some ideas.

Tom, were you thinking about importing from Poland? Is Poland using the Euro yet? Actually, I had something a bit more north-west - the land of the Koenigsegg - Sweden ;) Currently, 1 Canadian dollar (CDN) = 5.41 Swedish Kronor Some parts prices: new 288 Vectra GSI rotors (pair) = 850 SEK = $157.20...

In Canada, Lanos SX Sedan came with rear disc brakes. You may want to check with your local scrapyards, or even contact canadian wreckers. Here are two links that should help: Black Gold B&D Auto Parts Basically you only need the rear hubs, as they bold onto the rear axle: http://uploader.co.uk/imag...

Little bit of a problem with that top photo there.... it's been flipped. you're looking at a right-hand drive car's interior and the photo's been flopped left-right. Look at the ignition cylinder. then look very closely at the speedometer, the needle is on the right and pointing at 0. uhn-uh, that'...

Parts from Europe

Hey racers! I was thinking yesterday about parts I would like to have from the european models in my car. Then this crazy idea came to my mind - why not setup a group buy of parts - no complete engine (unfortunately), but various components, where the largest items could be gearboxes and cylinder he...

Astra GSI interior in Lemans/Cielo/Kadett

What do you think of this interior? Its from Opel Astra GSI, and its a straight swap into the earlier models:

If I recall properly, it is using same turbo as C20GET, ie Garrett T25.

0.4 Bar = roughly 5.8PSI, where as 0.7 Bar = 10PSI.

So theretically, if you will be using properly sized turbo (high % efficiency), you may not need to use the IC afterall. However, it would be recommended for 10PSI and above.
