Re: Venezuelan Z20LET by Holland Sport
Nice build list ... Although why the small Garrett T3 turbo ? I would think with all those other nice parts there would be a larger snail going in there.. What are the power goals ?

Re: Foernza, Lacetti, Reno Product Development
Sounds good... Any mockup or progress pics you can share ? Also I'm curious what are you providing for managent and / or fuel upgrades ? Stock injectors max out around 140-150whp on boosted applications. Also with the returnless fuel system boost pressure is limited to about 10psi before the injecto...

Re: Foernza, Lacetti, Reno Product Development
This is good to hear... :) While I may have my IS300 project for big power now, my Optra is still boosted and being driven several days a week. Its nice to hop back and forth between two very different chasis and drivetrains. My setup now with the quick spooling CT12 lends itself nicely to a small/t...

IS300 First Driving Impressions
Finally there has been a break with the crappy weather over the past few days and I've been driving the IS!! :D Its been amazing!! The power is so much fun and it sounds super mean when that wastegate opens... yet still cruises around with a "slightly modified OEM performance growl". Makes an awesom...

Fuel Economy
I wanted to add to my review of the new turbo setup in the Optra....
Just calculated the fuel economy I've been getting and its quite good! I did 1388 km on 146.1L which translates to 10.5 L / 100km ..... close to stock numbers yet still much more power than stock

Re: Project factory Optra
I do remember talking about the Torque problems you were having, I agreed back then that the larger turbo was a good choice to make it more reliable.... it's just that you scratched the surface with 13.5psi of boost and did not take advantage of Point#2 about expadability. I had allways hoped to se...

Re: Turbo Optra - New Direction and different setup
what a baby turbo! the 2jz deserves better than that... are you actually trying to make it drivable or something? :p LOL yes it is a little small for making big power on the 2J, but thats not the goal for phase1 of this project. The turbo is from my Optra, and we estimate should be good for somewhe...

Re: Project factory Optra
setup oriented towards driveability, useful torque and quick spool. Essentially converting it to a factory turbo car.... how it should have come from the factory :P First, congratulations on your new project car, the IS300 is an easy go fast car with lots of support in North Amercia, I'm sure you w...
