Re: Adjustable cam gears/verniers for u20sed x20xev
Interesting, I've never seen these before... where did you get them from? They almost look like someone started with the OEM gears and then modified them. I'm going to have a chat with my tuner, and see if he thinks these would provide a benefit to my setup right now. EDIT: I just noticed there's no...

Re: Daewoo Sens(Lanos) 3,0T from Ukraine
So, guys, now my Daewoo alive, but have some change. Now color is Imperial green, like legendary Lotus Omega, brakes 15" for 4 bolts wheels (280 mm brake disk from Opel Meriva and satellites from Vectra B with 57 mm calipers). And, this is main, now engine increase to 3,2 volume. Naturaly aspirated...

Re: Daewoo Leganza HID/Xenon Light/Kit
That's the law in oz... projectors, washers, and auto-levelers. But they don't check that yearly, only if you get pulled over... I think that's pretty dumb... I'm a huge fan of quality projectors, but the auto-leveling system is just a "nice to have"... you can very easily aim the projectors to a n...

Re: Timing belt $500+ fix
If the timing belt broke/ teeth got ripped off, you can pretty much guarantee your valves are bent - especially if you tried to keep driving/starting it.

Re: Compression ratio issues...Daewoo VS Corsa
Interesting question... I know you can not always take the compression tester reading as a direct relation to compression ratio. I believe as your tuner said various cam profiles can alter the tester reading, but I think there are also more variables. Also, are you 100% sure your calculations are co...

I would really love a plug and play coil pack upgrade for my Optra! It looks like your stock coil pack is identical to mine.... I don't know if that other one will work, but I'm definitely interested!

Re: Ultimate 2.0 16v turbo build
It's actually a de-stroker kit basically. I'm not a fan of stroker kits for inline fours, at least in FWD. The longer the stroke, the lower RPMs the peak torque comes in and it just spins tires. :-D I'm not a fan of stroking either. Regarding building the water/air cooler into the intake manifold, ...

Re: Ultimate 2.0 16v turbo build
Yes, coming into contact with Autosprint for their solid lifters was a very good find. I have hopes of building an 8500+RPM motor that will be good for 600hp. The goal is a motor that will hold up to WRC/GRC specs. The Z20LET pump is specific to the larger motor. There are two major differences bet...
