I can't say how many KMs you have left as that depends on how often you drive and your driving style. The slipping will gradually get worse and worse until it gets really annoying, so its sort of up to you when you want to change it.

I think it would. My friend has an older Del Sol, and I tried the same thing (revving up between gears and dropping the clutch), it keeps revving higher than the car's speed momentarily then comes back down. To me that seems like a slipping clutch. If the clutch is not slipping, you should either ge...

Heres some very good links to check out to calculate which compressor map of which turbo will fit your application best. Try the calculations and see what you get. As Kinky said there are many varieties of T4. Comon compressor maps: http://64.225.76.178/catalog/compmaps/fig1.html Very good info on h...

You are asking about either a T25 or T4, aren't these turbos VERY different in size? T25 being kinda small and T4 pretty large for our engines. What kind of performance are you after? Low and mid rpm torque with quick boost reponse, or more top end power and efficiency with more lag? I'm in the late...

Did you immediately realize what had happened? or did it happen slowly? What were the symptoms of losing compression in 1 cylinder?

sorry for all the noob questions lol.

Are those ones you posted for the U20SED? If so could you provide me with any more info / pics? I'm trying to decide on a mani soon, and the more options I have the better.

Audacityracing, where did you find those from? They *look* like they would flow better than the cast one. The cast one looks alright, except for the external wastegate placement....... seems like its pointing in the opposite direction of the exhaust flow which isn't the greatest for controlling boos...

Not as expensive as you might think..... there are newer 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.0L engines available.... but it's far cheaper to get a low mileage Aveo or Forenza motor for cheap. Anyone know how cheap? Specifically for the U20SED in the Optra/Forenza. Curious in case I kill my current motor with too much b...
