I think it would. My friend has an older Del Sol, and I tried the same thing (revving up between gears and dropping the clutch), it keeps revving higher than the car's speed momentarily then comes back down. You are asking about either a T25 or T4, aren't these turbos VERY different in size? T25 being kinda small and T4 pretty large for our engines. What kind of performance are you after? Low and mid rpm torque with quick boost reponse, or more top end power and efficiency with more lag? I'm in the late...

Audacityracing, where did you find those from? They *look* like they would flow better than the cast one. The cast one looks alright, except for the external wastegate placement....... seems like its pointing in the opposite direction of the exhaust flow which isn't the greatest for controlling boos...

Not as expensive as you might think..... there are newer 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.0L engines available.... but it's far cheaper to get a low mileage Aveo or Forenza motor for cheap. Anyone know how cheap? Specifically for the U20SED in the Optra/Forenza. Curious in case I kill my current motor with too much b...
