This is not a freeze plug. It is a 1/4 inch pipe tap plug. with theads, appx 3/4 inch long screwed into a hole about 1 1/2 deep. It has a hex head in it's top. My 2000 Lagenza with 72000 miles, is pumping oil into the coolent. The surge tank filler cap is gushing oil and water almost 4" high. Engine had new timing belt installed at 61000 by dealer.
