Yeah, i'm aware it's illegal. What i wasnt sure about were the penalties. I've looked in my local car modification act and it doesnt come up.

The one thing that i do know is that its perfectly legal as long as the bottle isn't connected to the NOS line while on public roads.

Tis all over now. After removing the panelling under the steering wheel i noticed that the blank space next to the instrumentation brightness control. Attached to the back of it was a plug, housing a +12V wire which only supplied power when the parker lights were on - exactly what i wanted. Just spl...

If it was me I would use a test light for hot(power) on the Cigarette lighters 12v it probably still works :) although it my be constant. I would also follow the ground from the head unit and self tap under it for a clean ground...less work. That ground is usually 12 gauge or better so use a size c...

One of the first things I did was test the cigarette lighter with a multimeter - nothing going through there, checked the fuse running to it, hadn't blown.

Neons in Leganza SX

I had plans to run some laser Led's under the dash , but ran into several problems along the way: The cigarette lighter delivers no power in my car? (Just bought the car, never tried to use it until now) I was going to wire them up properly eventually, and it would be nice if i could run them off my...

Mysterious connection?

Today when i removed the trim panel on my stock AKD-4105 Daewoo Single DIN cd player, i found a wire going between the cd player to the other wires, however this wire was not mentioned in the CD player manual, with the rest of the connections. The wire was solid black, and connected to a cylinder ab...

This is going to be my first stereo install, so could anyone give me any tips on how to run the wires from the head deck to the Amp in the boot? Also, my head deck is the stan...
